Ranch to Market road 2222 is located northwest of Austin in the greater Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area. This roadway begins at the interchange for Ranch to Market road 620 and ends in Austin at highway 69 just around the corner from Highland Mall. Residents living off of 2222 have a very wide set of choices when it comes to places to live. RM 2222 switches between rural, suburban and to inner city settings over the span of a short drive. To the northwest one might find an almost barren, woodsy roadway with a small stretch of housing or a few remote shops here and there while further southeast a resident will find themselves at the heart of Austin.

Much of Ranch to Market 2222 is scenic with trees lining the roadways from RM 620 almost all the way through. This road is not only loaded with beautiful residential communities to choose from and great shopping, dining and entertainment but it is one of the most beautiful roadways along the greater Austin-Round Rock area. The scenic stretch that Ranch Road 2222 follows along the edge of the Colorado river is particularly beautiful.

Ranch to Market Road 2222 only tends to be industrious in specific portions such as the first several miles after RM 620 and then again once you have reached inner city Austin. Otherwise with few exceptions this entire roadway is only mildly developed at best. A few miles after reaching 360 this beautiful Ranch Road becomes much more residential and this continues beyond Bright Leaf Preserve heading into Austin until you reach Grove Avenue. Much of the final several miles of 2222 is lined with businesses and government offices with a small stretch of residential zoning beginning just after Guadalupe Street and ending at highway 69.

Ranch to Market road 2222 is great for those looking for convenient drives between the RM 620 area and inner Austin. This is a beautiful choice for those who would like an easy commute to both the country and the city while living in a cozy, scenic home in between it all.
